We really miss you, but it is important that you stay healthy! Remember to wash your hands with soap and water, get enough rest, get fresh air, exercise and eat healthy!
Teachers still have a lot of things they need to teach, and you still have a lot to learn! The things you learn and the skills you practice in the next few weeks are important for helping you get ready to move on to the next grade! We still have until May 18th to get things done!
Feeling Stressed or Worried?
Big or unexpected changes can make us feel worried, stressed or scared! Here are some ideas that might help:
- Talk About It! Discuss how you are feeling and any questions you may have with someone at home you trust. Call, send emails, or write a letter to keep in touch with friends and family. Remember, your teachers are here for you! You can reach most of them by phone, dojo, or email. They would love to hear from you!
- Set Goals! Make a small daily list of things you want/need to get done, and work to check each one off the list!
- Do Something Fun! Ride your bike, draw, have a dance party! Take time to do what makes you feel happy!
- Do Something Kind! Focus your thinking on finding one nice thing to do each day! Make someone smile!
If you have questions for our counselors during this time, please reach out. You can reach out by email, on Class Dojo, or by leaving a message with the secretary at Monroe.
