Mrs. Robinson's kindergarten class celebrated March Madness with basketball themed centers. We designed our own basketball jersey and shoes, practiced addition,digraphs , and had a fun snack. We had a blast!
After state testing this week, 6th-grade math students used 3-D nets to make Funko Pops! Student effort and creativity was outstanding! I ❤️ how they turned out!
IAR testing is almost complete, and our students are showing incredible focus! 🎉 A little daily motivation comes in the form of a well-deserved treat after each testing session. Keep up the great work!

Kindergarten went on a field trip to Effingham Performing Arts Center to see Pete the Cat. Then they enjoyed lunch at the park and had time to play. It was a great day!

On Monday, each student in kindergarten and 1st grade received a book purchased by the Casey in Action group. The CIA has done this for several years promoting literacy in the primary grades and we truly appreciate it!

It's state testing week here at Monroe for 3rd-6th graders! Our students are prepared and ready to succeed! We have some really great incentives to offer students for their hard work and perseverance.
Each day, students have the opportunity to earn TWO tickets - one for effort and one for behavior. Students who earn both tickets will earn a reward that day, up to 5 days! The snack cart below is one of the rewards, along with extra recess times.
On Friday, all earned tickets will be entered into a grade level drawing, with a selection of 3 students per grade level. We have some great prize options, as shown below!
Remember, you can help your students succeed by ensuring they get a good night's rest, eat a healthy breakfast, are able to practice mindfulness skills, and offering some encouragement!!!
6th graders who made their AR goals enjoyed an afternoon of trivia. These girls won for the Disney & Marvel categories, and these boys won for the sports category and were overall winners. Great job everyone!
