Mrs. Sackrider's Kindergarten class had a busy Friday. In math we are working on 2D shapes and pulled out manipulatives to make the lesson fun and allow for the students to get creative.
Kindergarten classes are also beginning the final countdown of school with an ABC countdown. For each letter in the alphabet a fun activity or snack is planned daily. Today was A is for art. We did a directive drawing of how to make an Easter Bunny and then brought out the watercolors to make their pictures colorful.
Casey-Westfield softball will play Westville (11-1) today at home at 4:30.
National Assistant Principals Week, April 7–11, 2025, is a celebration of the unsung heroes in our education system. Mrs. Robinson's kindergarten class celebrated March Madness with basketball themed centers. We designed our own basketball jersey and shoes, practiced addition,digraphs , and had a fun snack. We had a blast!
After state testing this week, 6th-grade math students used 3-D nets to make Funko Pops! Student effort and creativity was outstanding! I ❤️ how they turned out!
IAR testing is almost complete, and our students are showing incredible focus! 🎉 A little daily motivation comes in the form of a well-deserved treat after each testing session. Keep up the great work!

Kindergarten went on a field trip to Effingham Performing Arts Center to see Pete the Cat. Then they enjoyed lunch at the park and had time to play. It was a great day!
