On Saturday, February 18th, the Casey-Westfield Band Boosters will host a mattress fundraiser at Roosevelt Gym from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. There will be name brand mattresses available such as Simmons BeautyRest, Therapedic, Englander, and various other brands. There will be a large showroom available for you to check out. Financing is available on the mattresses along with delivery and layaway, should you decide to purchase. Casey-Westfield staff, first responders, military, all receive an additional discount on purchases.

There will be a meeting for any High School student interested in participating on the Casey-Westfield Bass Fishing team next Thursday 2/16 in Room 111 during High School lunch.
The Casey-Westfield Band will be having a Band Binga on Sunday, February 12th at Roosevelt Junior High School in Casey. Tickets are $15.00 each for 15 games and may be purchased from High School and Junior High Band members or by calling the High School at 932-2175. The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. People may come and eat lunch at the Junior High before the games begin. Games will begin at 1:30 p.m.

The Casey-Westfield Softball Program will be hosting their annual Cinnamon Roll and Chili Dinner tomorrow evening from 4:30 to 7:30 in the High School Cafeteria during the High School Boys Basketball game vs T-Town. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door. Take out is also available. Thank you for your support of the CW Softball Program.
This week in Warrior and Brave Athletics...
Girl’s 🏀: The Lady Warriors (7-23) will play their regular season finale this Thursday at home against WSS. The game will start with JV tip off at 6 pm. The girls will start regional play this Saturday.
Boys 🏀: The Warriors JV and Varsity (14-6) teams play twice this week at home with Teutopolis slated for Tuesday and Lawrenceville on Friday. Both nights will begin with JV at 6pm. Fr/So will play at home on Monday evening at 6 pm against St. Anthony.
Junior High 🏐: The girls will play three matches this week. On Monday they kick off their week in Charleston before coming home on Tuesday to face Tri-County. Thursday the Lady Braves face off for a matchup against Marshall. All three games are slated to start at 4:30pm.

Best of luck to the 8th grade boy's basketball team as they face off against St. Anthony in the regional championship tonight at 5:30 pm. The game will be played at St. Anthony Middle School in Effingham.
There will be a fan bus for the JH Students tomorrow for the 8th grade Regional Championship game at St. Anthony Elementary School. The bus will leave at 4:30 tomorrow from the front of the High School. Students wanting to ride the bus need to sign up in the High School office by noon tomorrow and bring a note from a parent, or have their parent/guardian send an email to Mr. McFarland granting permission for their child to ride the bus.
The 8th Grade Boys Basketball team (23-1) will play in the 2A Regional Semifinal tonight at 6pm vs Dieterich at St. Anthony Middle School.

Junior High Scholastic Bowl will practice again tonight after school at the High School room 101. If you are interested in joining the JH Scholastic Bowl team it is not too late.
Casey-Westfield Schools will not be in session on Wednesday, January 25th.
The Casey-Westfield Jr. Sr. High School Library would like to ask the community for gently used and in good condition books to be donated to the Library. The Jr. and Sr. High has reimplemented the AR program back in our school for Jr. High and High school students. Our Library has many popular books that have been in circulation for a very long time and some books are beyond repair. It would be appreciated so very much if you would like to donate young adult books/novels to the High School Library. Due to impending weather, the 8th grade trip to St. Louis Kaplan Holocaust Museum for Wednesday, January 25th, has been cancelled. If the trip cannot be rescheduled, money will be returned to students.
The Varsity Boys Basketball LIC Tournament game tomorrow at Olney vs Newton has been moved to 5pm due to potential incoming weather.
The Fresh Soph boys basketball game for tonight has been postponed. Mt. Carmel is not able to travel today because their varsity team plays in the LIC Tourney tonight. The Fresh Soph game will be played at 5pm on 2/3 prior to the JV and Varsity boys basketball games at Mt. Carmel.
High School Girl’s 🏀 - The Lady Warriors will play two games this week with one at home and one on the road. The girls will play at Mt. Carmel starting at 6pm on Monday night. The girls play again Thursday at home against Lawrenceville. The team is coming off a 7th place finish in the LIC Tournament last week.
High School Boys 🏀 - The Warriors will play in the Little Illini Conference tournament throughout the week. All games will be played at Richland County. The boys won their first round matchup against the #7 seed, Paris, and will play #3 seeded Newton on Tuesday at 7:30pm. See the LIC website for more info on when the rest of their tournament games are being played. The Fresh/Soph team has two games this week after taking last week off. They play Mt. Carmel at home on Monday and are on the road against Lawrenceville on Thursday.

HS Scholastic Bowl: The Warrior scholastic bowl team will start the week off in Palestine on Tuesday and then head to Robinson on Saturday for the Little Illini Conference Tournament. The first match of the tournament will start at 10am.

Junior High 🏀 - The Braves 8th grade team wrapped up their conference regular season championship last week with a win over Cumberland. They added another game against Charleston, the only blemish to their 20-1 record, this Thursday at 6pm. The 7th grade boys finished their season Saturday after falling to South Central 41-21 in the regional quarterfinal.
