The Casey-Westfield Band will be having a ribeye and pork-burger drive-thru on Thursday, September 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the North side of the High School by the band room (rain or shine) (will cook in the ag shop if raining) Prices are as follows: Pork Burger Meal: $7.00 Ribeye Meal: $10.00 Includes: Sandwich, chips, cookie, pop or bottled water Pork Burger sandwich only: $5.00 Ribeye sandwich only: $8.00 Thank you for your support of the Casey-Westfield band.

The 2024 Fall Rotary Heart Screening program will be Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon in the Heart Center at Sarah Bush Lincoln. This valuable screening is available to all high school athletes who are between 15-17 years of age (at the time of the screening). The registration forms along with a parent letter are attached. On Saturday, August 31st High School and Junior High Cross Country raced at the Doc Acklin Invite in Paris. For High School Kayla Clark received a medal for 10th place out of 99 girls. For Junior High two runners medaled with Drew Sherwood receiving 4th and Jayden Roberts receiving 5th place. Congratulations!

Game Day! Big shoutout to the Maintenance and Custodial Crew as well as Mr. Bennett and Mrs. Lee's classes for getting everything ready for the game!!

Casey-Westfield Jr./Sr. High School has an immediate opening for a classroom aide for the 2024-2025 school year: Classroom Aide: Applicants must have a valid Illinois teaching or substitute teaching certificate. Hours are 7:30 am – 3:15 pm. The starting pay is $17.00/hour for non-certified candidates and $19.00/hour for certified candidates. Duties could include study hall supervision, small group instruction in reading and mathematics, classroom aide, and student lunch supervision. Interested applicants should email a letter of application, resume, list of references, and copy of certificate(s) to james.sullivan@caseywestfield.org .

There is still time to purchase a 2024 yearbook! Please note that this yearbook is only for current 9 - 12 grade students. Deadline is July 1, and we have about 30 copies left before we sell out. Yearbooks are $60 each. The High School softball team will play Windsor Stew Stras today at 4pm in Altamont for the Sectional Championship.

Sports physical and vaccine clinic! Please remember- students entering kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade, or enrolling in an IL school for the first time MUST have a school physical. A sports physical will not be accepted for those students.

The High School Softball Regional Championship will be played at Casey tomorrow against Central A &M. The game has been pushed up from 4:30pm to 4:00pm.

Teacher Appreciation Week is a week-long celebration to honor the incredible work that teachers do. This year, Teacher Appreciation Week runs from May 6th to May 10th, 2024. Lets show our teachers how much we appreciate their dedication, hard work, and passion for education.

HS Boys Baseball defeated Cumberland 11 to 5 this weekend to pick up their 15th win of the season. HS Softball defeated Westville 8 to 0 and Breese Mater Dei 8 to 5 to improve to 29 and 1 on the season. Softball will play Newton at home tonight at 4:30.

HS Softball defeated Pal Hut 12 to 3 to improve to 26 and 1 on the season. HS Boys Tennis fell to Mattoon 5 to 4, but has a 7 and 2 record on the season.

HS Baseball had a thrilling comeback win against Marshall 5 to 4. HS Softball defeated Marshall 5 to 1 to improve to 25 and 1 on the season. HS Boys tennis defeated Mahomet Seymour.
