Casey-Westfield Warriors claim the 2026 IHSA 1A Regional Championship by defeating the Cumberland Pirates 50-45. The Warriors will be back in action 3/4/26 at 7pm in the Meridian Sectional (Macon, IL) vs Lawrenceville.
The Casey-Westfield FFA held its annual 'Bring Your Tractor to School Day,' wrapping up the festivities of FFA Week with a parade for the students at Monroe Elementary.

The Lineup: From Workhorses to Family Haulers
The show featured five distinct vehicles, creating a unique timeline of automotive utility.
The Classic Pickup: The undisputed star for the purists. A beautifully maintained vintage truck served as a reminder of the FFA's deep roots in agricultural history.
The Modern Workhorses: Three additional trucks rounded out the heavy-lifting category. Ranging from daily farm drivers to a polished late-model pickup, these represented the backbone of the local community.
The Wildcard Minivan: In a sea of chrome and tailgate hardware, a single minivan stood its ground. It was a lighthearted reminder that "utility" comes in many forms—even if that form usually involves juice boxes and sliding doors rather than hay bales.

Come out tonight for the Regional Championship at Bob Durham Court at 7pm as the Casey-Westfield Warriors take on the Cumberland Pirates. Cost is $8 at the door.

The high school Scholastic Bowl team participated in the Masonic tournament on Saturday, February 21st, and took second place!
Warriors take on Chrisman in the IHSA Regional Quarterfinals at Bob Durham Court at 6pm
Notice: Due to the scheduled 6:00 pm tip-off for the Boys Regional basketball game vs Chrisman on Monday night, the Board of Education's February regular meeting start time has been moved up to 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Board room at 401 E Main St., Casey, Il 62420.

Jostens will be visiting Casey-Westfield next week on Wednesday, February 18th - during HS lunch. Jostens will have on display the custom class rings, belt buckles, and letter jackets. Students may get sized and place their orders with Jostens at this event.
Letter Jackets may also be customized by the students. Students may customize the jackets through the link below. Print your design to bring to the order event to be sized and place your order. At the time of the order, please bring all patches to sew on - Jostens will sew these on for free for the initial jacket order - patches must be presented at the time of the order. The 2026 Spring Rotary Heart Screening program will be Saturday, March 7, 2026 starting at 8 a.m. in the Heart Center at Sarah Bush Lincoln. In an effort to make this valuable screening available to all high school athletes who are between 15-17 years of age (at the time of the screening), we are simplifying the distribution and collection process of the screening forms and we need your help!
The registration forms along with the parent letter are attached to this email. Please make a copy of the packet for each eligible high school athlete (must be between 15-17 years of age at time of the screening) in your school and ask your head coaches to encourage parents to mail forms back to SBL at:
