The Warriors got several good wins on Monday. HS Softball defeated Cumberland 18 to 4 to improve to 11 and 1 on the season. HS Baseball defeated OPH 13 to 8. HS Boys tennis defeated St. Thomas Moore 6 to 3.

The HS Baseball team picked up a varsity win over Sullivan today 4 to 2 and a JV win over Sullivan 12 to 2. HS Softball picked up a 8 to 3 win over Champaign Central and a 9 to 0 win over South Central to improve to 10 and 1 on the season.

The Lady Warrior Softball team advanced to 8 and 1 with an 8 inning walk-off 5 to 4 win over Effingham. The Lady Warriors will play Champaign Central today at 4:30 at home, and will play South Central tomorrow at 12pm at home.

Mrs. Seaton's Applied English 4 class is gearing up to complete their service learning project, "Warrior Wigwam." We aim to raise $10,000 to revamp the school's courtyard into an outdoor learning lab. This outdoor space would provide our students an enriched learning environment for team-building activities, science experiments, and a peaceful reading nook. To accomplish this project, we are collaborating with the industrial arts, horticulture, and AG mechanics to minimize labor costs. In addition, this will allow our students to gain experience and skills necessary for their future careers. We would like to request your support to help cover material costs for our Warrior Wigwam project. Attached is a sponsorship package our class put together to help us raise funds for our project. The Lady Warriors Softball team advances to 7 and 0 with a 15 to 0 win over Cowden Herrick Beecher City. The Lady Warriors play at West Vigo today with a 4:30 Illinois start time. Baseball hosts Altamont today with a 4:30 start time. Boys Tennis travels to Fairfield for a 4:30 start. JH Scholastic Bowl travels to Robinson today.

Varsity Softball will play at home today against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 4:30. The JV softball game for today vs St. Anthony has been canceled.

The High School softball team improve to 4 and 0 with a 16 to 0 win over ALAH and a 16 to 0 win over Neoga. The Lady Warriors host a home tourney today. The Lady Warriors play BIsmarck Henning at 10am today followed by a 12pm game vs Meridian or Villa Grove.

Carpentry 1 class have been "hopping" busy working on our Easter crafts for this year. We have several items ready go and will continue to make items as long as needed. The High School baseball and softball teams started off the season with wins over Edwards County yesterday. Baseball defeated the lions 4 to 3, and Softball won 10 to 7. Softball plays at Sullivan IL today and Baseball plays at home vs North Clay.

The JV softball game scheduled for today is rescheduled for this Thursday 3/14 at home starting at 4:30.

The Little Warriors Basketball Camp that is put on by Mrs. Taylor and the Junior High Girls Basketball team will be moved to the High School this Saturday March 9th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The camp will not be held at Roosevelt this Saturday.

​Congratulations to the Warrior Basketball Team for their win over the Chrisman Cardinals tonight at Bob Durham Court. The Warriors will take on Tuscola Friday night for the Regional Championship. Tip-off will be at 7:00 pm. Go Warriors!!!

It is FFA week!

Congratulations to the Warrior Basketball Team for their 70-38 win over Tri-County Monday night in the Regional Quarterfinal round. The Warriors will be back in action on Wednesday at 7:30 pm to take on Chrisman in the Regional Semifinal round. Good Luck Warriors!

The Warrior Basketball Team will host Newton tomorrow night at Bob Durham Court to conclude the 2023-2024 basketball regular season. With this being the last regular season game, it is also Sr. Night for our student-athletes. Come out and support the Warriors tomorrow night and help us recognize our Seniors. Start time for tomorrow will be 6:00 pm for Jr. Varsity with the Varsity game to follow. We will be recognizing our Sr.'s roughly 10 minutes prior to the national anthem of the varsity game. GO WARRIORS!!!
