Casey-Westfield Jr-Sr High School

Casey-Westfield High School will be hosting the Lincoln Trail Band Festival on Thursday, March 10th. Eight High School Bands totaling around 175 students will come together for the entire day to perform. They will perform a free concert at 6:00 p.m. The concert will be at Casey-Westfield High School Gym.

The JH Volleyball game against Cumberland is rescheduled for Friday, February 25, 2022.

The JH Volleyball game tonight against Cumberland has been canceled. We are working on a reschedule date.

Casey-Westfield Warrior Basketball will be hosting Cumberland High School for the first round of Regionals this Saturday at 6:30 pm.

The JH Boys Basketball 3rd place state game has been moved to 6 pm on Wednesday. There will be a fan bus for JH students leaving from the High School at 2:45 pm. Students need to sign up in the main office and bring $3 for game admission cost.

HELP WANTED: Part-time recess and cafeteria aide wanted. Monroe Elementary in Casey, IL has a two-hour aide position available. Duties include escorting and supervising K-6th students during lunch and recess from 11 am - 1 pm on student attendance days. Starting pay is $13.00/hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma, with preference given to applicants with additional education. The High School Girls Basketball game for tonight at home against Newton High School has been moved to a 7:30 pm start time.

The 8th grade Boys Basketball Sectional Championship game is this Wednesday at 6:30 pm at Champaign St. Matthews School. There will be a fan bus for students who would like to attend the game. The bus will be leaving at 4:45 pm from the High School. Students need to bring $3 tomorrow for game admission fee and sign up in the office if they would like to ride the fan bus.

Reminder: no school tomorrow due to a scheduled SIP day. Also, if COVID policies are changed, notification will be made promptly. Testing at Roosevelt is Tuesday-Friday 8-9am.

There will be no school on Friday, February 4th.

The Lady Braves volleyball game for tonight has been moved to a 4 PM start time due to the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Sectional game starting at 6:30 PM.

Monroe Elementary has an immediate opening for a classroom aide. Applicants must be fluent in Spanish, have a high school diploma and be available to work daily from 7:45 - 3:15 pm on school days when students are present. This position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift up to 40lbs. Duties include assisting student(s) with basic and educational needs as directed by teachers in both Spanish and English. The starting pay is $13.00/hour beginning February 1, 2022. The JH Boys Basketball game this Saturday against Effingham will start at 10 A.M. There will only be one 7th Grade game.

The Fresh/Soph Boys Basketball game tonight against Olney High School has been rescheduled for January 18, 2022. The game will be played at Olney before the JV Boys Basketball game. Start time is 5:45 p.m.

There will be a High School Girls Basketball game tomorrow at home against Neoga High School at 1 p.m.
