Help Wanted Monroe Elementary School is seeking applicants for a cafeteria helper from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on student attendance days for the remainder of this 2022-23 school year. Starting salary: $15.00 per hour. Candidates should pick up an application at Monroe, the Unit Office, or email Linda Campbell at linda.campbell@caseywestfield.org. Casey-Westfield is in need of a Junior High Scholastic Bowl coach for this season. Matches start on February 13th. Please email Mr. Sullivan or Mr. McFarland if you are interested in this position.

The High School Girls Basketball team will play Fairfield at home tonight. The JV game will start at 5pm.

The HS Boys Basketball team will play Charleston at home on 1/3. JV will start at 6pm. The JH Boys Basketball team will play Dieterich on 1/2 at home with the 7th grade game starting at 6pm.

The High School boys basketball game this Friday vs Tuscola has been canceled due to the incoming weather forecast. Efforts are being made to reschedule the game on a later date.

The JV game against Cumberland tonight will start at 6:00. Varsity to follow.

The Casey-Westfield Varsity Boys Basketball team will play Danville High School tomorrow at 1pm in the Hutsonville Shootout.

Our Industrial Arts class have been very busy making crafts for our Open House, to be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 9-4, here in our classroom at Casey Westfield H.S. REMINDER - TODAY @ 5:30 Seniors and Parents/Guardians, Mark your calendars! We will host a FAFSA completion night on November 3rd in the IMC from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. If you need assistance completing the FAFSA graduation requirement, please join us. Shout out to Dahnke Family Farms for allowing Mrs. Seaton’s Applied Language Art 4 class to visit their farm. Today, students learned how to start a business from the ground up. In addition, students enjoyed a visit with Rosie, the reindeer, and picked pumpkins.

Follow the road south at NE 4th at JSHS. Continue south to East Alabama. Turn east on East Alabama. Follow Alabama all the way over to NE 14th, take a left (north). Follow NE 14th to E Grant, take a left (west). Turn left (south) on NE 13th and head back south to Main Street. Take a right on Main Street and head back to the rocking chair.

We wrapped up the first quarter on Friday, and quarter one grade cards are now available for the jr/sr. high school. Please check your student's academic progress. Remember the junior high students start fresh each quarter and the high school grades continue until the end of the semester. The grade card is just one way of learning about your student's progress in school. Conferences with their teachers can add to your understanding of your student's performance. As a reminder, the district is holding parent/teacher conferences today, Tuesday, from 3:30p.m.- 7 p.m. and Thursday from 3:30 - 7 p.m. Please contact your student's teacher/s to schedule a time to discuss your student's progress.
