The Lady Braves volleyball game for tonight has been moved to a 4 PM start time due to the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Sectional game starting at 6:30 PM.
Monroe Elementary has an immediate opening for a classroom aide. Applicants must be fluent in Spanish, have a high school diploma and be available to work daily from 7:45 - 3:15 pm on school days when students are present. This position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift up to 40lbs. Duties include assisting student(s) with basic and educational needs as directed by teachers in both Spanish and English. The starting pay is $13.00/hour beginning February 1, 2022.

The JH Boys Basketball game this Saturday against Effingham will start at 10 A.M. There will only be one 7th Grade game.
The Fresh/Soph Boys Basketball game tonight against Olney High School has been rescheduled for January 18, 2022. The game will be played at Olney before the JV Boys Basketball game. Start time is 5:45 p.m.
There will be a High School Girls Basketball game tomorrow at home against Neoga High School at 1 p.m.

Martinsville High School has canceled the High School Girls Basketball game tonight due to not having enough players. The game is rescheduled for February 7, 2022.
The Lady Warrior Basketball game for tonight against Brownstown will be played at the Roosevelt Gym. Game time is 6:15.
Charleston has canceled the 7th grade boys basketball game for tonight. 8th grade will start at 4:30 p.m.
The JH Boys Basketball game at Charleston, Monday, December 6, 2021 will be moved to a 4:30 p.m. start time
Mt. Pulaski has cancelled the High School Boys Basketball game this Saturday. We are not sure when/if the game will be rescheduled.
Veterans Day Parade -
Unfortunately due to the current rain pattern, we are going to have to cancel the Veterans Day parade that was organized for the schools.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE THE BREAKFAST AT MONROE BEGINING AT 9:00 AM. ALL VETERANS ARE WELCOME TO DRIVE BY AND GRAB A MEAL AND GO. THE MEALS WILL BE DISTIBUTED AT THE GYM LOBBY DOORS.
