It's never too early to start planning for the holidays!
Monroe Elementary's Annual Fall Fundraiser is perfect for your upcoming Thanksgiving/Christmas gatherings! We are partnering with the Oakland Noodle Company to offer a variety of options to help you with your holiday cooking! By choosing to order these local favorites from us, you will also be helping support the students at Monroe! Whether you order 1 bag or 20, every bag will help us reach our goal! Order forms will be sent home with students today. Orders and payment will be due back by Wednesday, October 18th. Noodles will be sent home with students on Tuesday, November 21st. If you need additional order forms, please let us know!

Attendance Matters- Make School Attendance A Priority!
✏One of our focuses for the '23-'24 school year is improving student attendance. Every school day counts!🍏
‼Open House Information‼
🍎Due to the generosity of our community, we have a surplus of donated backpacks. Some are even filled with school supplies. These will be available to our students during open house tonight. You can find these backpacks outside of the nurse's room. First come, first served basis-- available to any Monroe student!
🍎Don't forget to bring your Summer Reading BINGO sheets to open house tonight! If you are unable to attend, you may turn in tomorrow to your teacher. We will not accept BINGO sheets turned in after that, as we plan to draw the winners tomorrow.
🍎Stop by the ASC table located near the front office to sign you child(ren) up for ASC. You can access the paperwork at this link: https://www.caseywestfield.org/o/monroe/page/after-school-care-program and have it filled out, ready to turn in. There will also be forms available at the ASC table. Calendar and payment must be turned in by tomorrow (8-18-23).
🍎Stop in room 85 to get your back to school picture with our photo op!
If your child(ren) will be attending the After School Care program this school year, stop by the ASC table during Open House. It will be located by the office. You can grab all needed paperwork and ask any questions you may have. If your child(ren) will be attending in August, I will need payment and calendar by Friday, August 18th (first day of school).
There will be a place to turn in Summer Reading Challenge BINGO sheets at Open House on Thursday evening. Students can also turn sheets in on Friday, the first day of school. There will be a table in front of the office to to turn in the BINGO sheets. We will draw 6 winners at the end of the day on Friday.
