Kindergarten Parents, Please sign up for a kindergarten orientation time slot for Friday, August 21st. Please have your child's supplies in hand at orientation. Orientation will be held outside at Monroe Elementary. Orientation groups meeting at 8:30-9:00 and 9:30-10:00 will attend school on Monday, August 24th. They will NOT attend on Tuesday, August 25th. Orientation groups meeting at 10:30-11:00 and 12:30-1:00 will attend school on Tuesday, August 25th. They will NOT attend on Monday, August 24th. Orientation for remote learners will be from 1:00-1:30. Remote learners will begin school work on Tuesday, August 25th. All in house learners will attend on Wednesday, August 26th. Monroe Parents: Chromebook distribution for any student at Monroe, in grades K-6 who have selected Remote Learning, will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, from 8:00 am - 11:00 am at the Monroe gym lobby doors.

Monroe's After School Care Program (ASC) will be offered again this coming 2020-2021 school year! Any student kindergarten through sixth grade may attend. The cost is $5 per child, per day. Program hours are school dismissal-5:30 pm, Monday-Friday. The ASC Program will operate on regular school days only. It will not operate when school is cancelled due to weather or an early dismissal due to a holiday/special occasion already identified on the district calendar. The link to the scheduling calendar, handbook and participation registration sheet are located below. These forms are not electronic, and will need to be printed, completed and returned. We must receive a completed participation registration sheet, calendar and payment before your child may attend. If your child will be attending in August, please return completed forms the first day of school (August 21st). Monthly scheduling is preferred, but if that is not possible, contact us to make other arrangements. Monroe Parents: If you were unable to make the scheduled days for our final collection and distribution, please feel free to come to Monroe beginning today and return paper packets and Chromebooks as well as collect your child's personal belongings. Please use the main office door. Today, Friday, May 22, 2020 the office is open 8:00 - 1:00. Beginning Tues., May 26, 2020 office hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

#IROCKEDCWREMOTE From: DEE SCOTT THURSDAY, MAY 14, 2020 Starting Today, 5/14/20, a yard sign will be installed at each school that states, “I finished the 2019-2020 school year through remote learning!” We encourage everyone to take your child’s picture next to the sign at his/her school. When posting your picture to social media, please use the hashtag  #irockedCWremote  to share this milestone with everyone. Your health is still a priority so we ask that you be mindful of social distancing requirements when taking pictures. Only one family is permitted at the sign at a time. If someone is at the sign when you arrive, please stay in your car until they finish.
